Garment Care
Beaded
Our beaded garments are each individually hand placed and sewn, each garment taking between 80 and 450 hours to create. These garments should be handled delicately to prevent damage. We recommend storing within a garment bag away from other items to prevent catching along with ensuring you hang your garments by the garment hang tapes or lay flat where possible.
Non Beaded
Our non embellished garments are crafted from various luxurious fabrications, it is recommended to follow the individual care tags for each piece. For general preservation we recommend storing out of direct sunlight and ensuring that any cleaning instructions for specific pieces and fabrics are followed.
Feathers
Our feathered pieces are individually hand placed and sewn. Feathers are ethically sourced and are to be handled with care. Avoid contact with any form of liquids and storing against items where the feathers could catch and pull.
Jewellery
Rachel Gilbert jewellery is crafted from various materials where individual care instructions should be followed. We recommend avoiding contact with perfumes and alcohol.
